ABOUT
Based in London, Reece Straw is a Photographer & Filmmaker specialising across the Fine Arts with commissions in documentary, art film production & artwork and exhibition photographic documentation.
Since 2016, Reece has worked with high-profile galleries and institutions such as Tate, The National Gallery, Turner Contemporary, Baltic and Stephen Friedman Gallery.
Artist collaborators include Larry Achiampong, John Newling and Jason Singh.
One of Reece’s Most notable achievement to date is working on the BAFTA Outstanding Debut by A British Writer, Director or Producer category nominated film - Wayfinder by Larry Achiampong, where he was Camera Operator. The also film won the Aesthetica Art Prize 2023.
Published works have appeared in Art Review, The Guardian, Financial Times, Frieze, ID-Magazine, This is Tomorrow and various art book publications such as Ecology Works - John Newling and Anthony Whishaw - Works on Paper.
Past achievements include graduating with First Class Degree in Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University and exhibiting in Bloomberg New Contemporaries 2016.
